Khanh Hoa, August 30, 2024 – With the support of burn and wound-healing specialists in Ho Chi Minh City and the leadership of Khanh Hoa General Hospital, DKD introduced its SUV Liposome-based biological membrane formulation, PL Pro, at the thematic workshop “Care for Hard-to-Heal Wounds: Current Status and Treatment Solutions,” hosted at the hospital.
The workshop brought together more than 250 participants, including physicians, nurses, and healthcare administrators. During the event, specialists from the Burn and Plastic Surgery Department of Children’s Hospital 1 in Ho Chi Minh City presented an overview of delayed wound healing and introduced non-invasive wound care solutions based on biological membrane formulations. The application session focused on PL Pro, a topical gel built on SUV Liposome biological membrane technology, illustrated through real-world clinical cases and care protocols both in hospitals and at home.
Improper wound care can result in severe complications, long-term sequelae, pain, and substantial treatment costs for patients. In this context, SUV Liposome biological membrane technology — PL Pro — was presented as a new therapeutic approach that:
- Supports cleansing and protection of the wound surface while maintaining a physiologically moist environment favorable for healing.
- Fits multiple clinical contexts, including burns, chronic ulcers, reconstructive post-surgical care, and sensitive skin or mucosal regions.
- Remains accessible and simple to apply, making it suitable for community use where advanced wound-care resources may be limited.
During the discussion session, participants raised questions regarding indications, contraindications, treatment pathways, compatibility with advanced dressings, and remote monitoring for outpatient wound care. The clinical team provided guidance on appropriate use, criteria for monitoring progress, and standards for evaluating efficacy and safety throughout each stage of healing.

The leadership of Khanh Hoa General Hospital and DKD expressed the expectation that the workshop would strengthen practical knowledge for medical staff, improve the quality of care for surgical conditions involving hard-to-heal wounds, and increase confidence and satisfaction among patients and their families during treatment.
